Well, hello there...

Hey everyone! Well, I'm sitting at my computer, behind a screen, typing these words into a little text box that you are reading right now! I'm also listening to some music on iTunes. But none of this concerns you, if you're reading this it probably means you're wondering where I've been, or, more likely, when the next bloody CS event is! Well you can close that big gob of yours because I'll be explaining where we currently stand with the CS event, among other things, in this little catch up post.

After spending the first day of my half-term holidays taking photos around Manchester, and searching through record stores, I'm taking this second day off to fill you all in with where I've been, what I've been doing, CS news, and what Cyclone has in store for you this year!

First things first, for those of you that didn't see the post, Cyclone welcomed Xi Jin into the family. We're very happy to have him as part of us, and we're sure we'll see some exciting things coming from his as we go along. Along with Xi's arrival, we announced that we would be making numerous changes to the team. These changes are now beginning to take effect. A lot of retired riders are now off the team page, who's spaces are now waiting to be filled... There's a lot of promising talent out there that could make it into the Cyclone family. I'm keeping my eyes peeled!

As for the main part of this post I'm sure you've all scrolled down to read... It's time to talk about the Cyclone Syndrome 4 Bonanza Tech Deck Extravaganza event that I keep getting FBHQ inboxes about! So, we'd originally planned for the event to actually be held this coming week, half-term hols. But, after we couldn't find a placeholder for the event venue, and the fact it was drawing closer and closer, AND on top of everything else everyone would be revising for exams, we've decided that we're going to try and rent the venue for a later date. CS4 will most likely be held in the Summer-hols, a.k.a when every student breaks up from school for a few weeks, preparing for the next year to come.

If all goes well, you should be able to kick off your freedom from exams with a nice Tech Deck Bonanza event held in the first or second week of the holidays! More info to come when we get it ourselves!

As for a quick little update on media from our wonderful teamriders, here's a little video from Tom Colbert, a great friend and one of Cyclone's best representatives! Enjoy this lovely, short edit. Give him a break, exams = revision = no free time. Although, based upon his tweets, it looks as if Tom is spending his revision time partying and waking up next to Co-Op shopping-trollies... Look it up! Anyway, here's this lovely little masterpiece from the Colbernator himself.
